How do I trigger a DoorBird relay through a Crestron application?

Last Updated a year ago

First, In the DoorBird app before you set up your Crestron settings or programming, create a new user and give it rights to the relays and the api. This user is what will be used in the AVLinkPro routing template.
In  Crestron SIMPL programing or  you would create a button to open the door, the button would call extension 901. (In Crestron Home using SIPAHOY, you would use a virtual button) Under Routing in the AVLinkPro, you will see DoorBird api template. Add that template and enter in all the user info.  Make sure it says 901... if its another number make your button call that number.
If you may have multiple DoorBird intercoms... you would just add the template multiple times.. and create your buttons accordingly 901, 902, 903... each tied to a specific DoorBird. Lastly make sure you set a dedicated ip for each DoorBird unit in your DHCP scope ... ip addresses cannot change.
