How does AVLinkPro discovery Crestron Panels?
Crestron Electronics makes constant updates to their products and firmware. AVLinkPro will make updates as necessary to provide the most current compatibility to the latest Crestron products.
Update: We have added a different routine to enabling panels in Crestron systems.
This will require you to add the IP address f each panel to be connected. Crestron will also require each connected panel to have an SSH user enabled to connect to AVLinkPro (This is a security feature added to all Crestron panels since 2021. We recommend creating a secondary user on each panel for the purpose of connecting the panel for intercom to AVLinkPro.
Our discovery routine is still available but not as often used due to network issues and Crestron firmware updates.
